Overview
The 6 days Rwanda Nyungwe forest and Congo Nile trail hiking adventure, rewards you with a great experience to explore Rwanda countryside, with a hiking trail along the Lake Kivu shores, having opportunity to interact with the local community, engage in crop to cup coffee tour experience as well as have a beautiful view of Lake Kivu, concluding it with a visit to Nyungwe forest for canopy walk experience and waterfalls hike.
Day 1: Transfer to Gisenyi.
Meet up with your guide in Kigali and transfer to Gisenyi, with a beautiful en route drive, on the rolling hills that Rwanda is known of. You will reach at your booked accommodation and meet up with your assigned local hiking guide, before retire at your own leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Hike to Cymbiri
Day Itinerary
Today, have breakfast, park light for the hike, ready to explore the Congo Nile, meet your hiking local guide, have a short briefing and later drive off to the starting point to Cymbiri and start to explore the Congo Nile trail, as you stroll around the local community area. Today you will cover roughly 18km. Relax at your guest house and share some stories with your guide.

Day 3: Hike to Kinunu
Day Itinerary
Wake up and have your breakfast, grab your back bag and set off for a superb hiking adventure, explore the banana gardens and tea estates. Today you will be able to visit the coffee gardens and learn about the coffee cup coffee experience. You will continue with your hike to your next stop over.

Day 4: Hike to Bumba
Day Itinerary
The hike continues, as today, you will wake up so early, as you continue to explore the trail. There is so much to meet and learn from, as you interact with your guide, get to know and understand the local community and the countryside of Rwanda

Day 5: Hike to Kibuye and drive to Nyungwe for canopy walk
Day Itinerary
Have breakfast, and proceed with your hike though today, you will take a short hike with a beautiful view of Lake Kivu and Congo view from a distance. View of the 3 fishermen boats. You will later link up with your driver and drive off to Nyungwe National Park, reach and have lunch before heading for canopy walk, which is a rough 2 hour’s experience. After the canopy walk, you will return and transfer to your hotel.

Day 6: Waterfall hike and transfer to Kigali
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, head for a waterfall hike, which rewards you with a nature walk in the forest, spotting numerus primates as well as birds. You will visit the waterfalls’, and later return and drive for lunch. After lunch, you jump into your jeep and find your way to Kigali, reach Kigali in the afternoon, drop at your hotel. End of service!
