Your 4 day’s Uganda gorilla trekking adventure safari, will give a total wild habituation experience in the thick impenetrable forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is one of the hot spot to trek the gorillas, known for harboring half of the word famous mountain gorillas. This is the only place in the world where gorilla habituation exercise is done. You will enjoy an incredible experience of gorilla trekking exercise, having enough time to share a moment with these incredible primates.

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Day Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport and passing through the immigration process, you will be welcomed by our safari driver who will, brief you shortly and transfer you to the booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay
Overnight at: Protea Hotel by Marriott Entebbe (Luxury) or Pineapple Guest House (Mid – range)

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Travel time + 8hrs
Day Itinerary
After early morning breakfast at 6:30 am, you will meet your guide and drive off heading to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The drive is roughly 8 hour’s depending on the traffic and you will drive through a scenic lush green countryside with an en route lunch in Mbarara. Later proceed with your drive to your booked accommodation to catch up with the late lunch and later spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and preparing for the next day’s Gorilla habituation exercise.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Uganda. It’s known for its diverse flora and fauna, with over 350 bird species and over 400 gorillas. Bwindi offers a unique birding experience for bird enthusiasts, as well as gorilla trekking for wildlife enthusiasts. The park’s thick forest makes for an exciting and immersive adventure, attracting tourists from all over the world. It’s best to visit during the dry season for optimal bird watching and gorilla trekking experiences.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Day Itinerary
Begin the day with a heavy breakfast ready for your long awaited gorilla trekking experience, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots together with packed lunch. You will later be transferred to the park headquarters’ where you will meet with other trekkers of the day. Group allocation depending on the guests’ fitness levels and interest, followed by briefing in your allocated groups, before you all get into your vehicles and drive to a common gorilla trekking starting point for the day. The assigned ranger guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. An hour will be assigned to you, upon finding the gorillas, and you will have a whole full hour to take photos and video’s as you watch the gorillas go through their day life of feeding as the juvenile’s play about, rooming close to their mothers. Of course you will have the opportunity to spot the silverback, who tends to be seated cool, watching over his family. When time reaches, you will say goodbye to the gorillas, and when you return, find your driver guide waiting for you. Gratitude to the ranger guides, for the great work well done, jump into your jeep and find your way to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive back to Entebbe for departure
Day Itinerary
Early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and jump into your jeep, find your way back to Entebbe, which is roughly a 8 hour’s drive back, depending on traffic along the way. You will enjoy an en route lunch along the way. You will arrive in the afternoon, and you will be transferred to the airport to catch up with your evening flight back home (Evening flight beyond 6 pm is advised or an overnight in Entebbe). End of service!

Note: You can as well opt to exit via Kigali or add on Rwanda tour like Kigali city tour. You can as well as opt to return to Entebbe by a local domestic flight, which takes roughly 2 hours, with morning and afternoon flight options.
