Your 3 day’s Uganda gorilla trekking adventure safari, will give a total wild habituation experience in the thick impenetrable forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is one of the hot spot to trek the gorillas, known for harboring half of the word famous mountain gorillas. This is the only place in the world where gorilla habituation exercise is done. Day 1: Arrival in Uganda and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Travel time + 8hrs
Day Itinerary
On the first day, you will arrive in Uganda, most likely at Entebbe International Airport on an early morning flight, or you can as well be met, at your hotel in Entebbe/ Kampala.
A tour guide or representative from One More Adventure Safaris, will meet you and provide a warm welcome
You’ll embark on a scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The drive might take several hours, depending on the starting point.
As you travel, you’ll be treated to stunning landscapes, local villages, and possibly some wildlife sightings along the way.
Upon arrival at Bwindi, you’ll check into your lodge, settle in, and enjoy a delicious dinner in preparation for the upcoming gorilla trekking experience.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Uganda. It’s known for its diverse flora and fauna, with over 350 bird species and over 400 gorillas. Bwindi offers a unique birding experience for bird enthusiasts, as well as gorilla trekking for wildlife enthusiasts. The park’s thick forest makes for an exciting and immersive adventure, attracting tourists from all over the world. It’s best to visit during the dry season for optimal bird watching and gorilla trekking experiences.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Day Itinerary
This is the most anticipated day of the trip – gorilla trekking day!
After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park’s headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. They will provide essential information about gorilla trekking rules and safety guidelines.
You’ll be assigned to a specific gorilla family group, and your trek will be led by experienced guides and trackers.
The trekking duration can vary depending on the location of the gorilla group you are visiting. It may take anywhere from 1 to 6 hours to reach the gorillas.
Once you encounter the gorillas, you’ll have a precious hour to observe them in their natural habitat, witnessing their behaviors, interactions, and familial bonds (usually around 1 hour).
Remember to maintain a safe distance and follow the guidelines provided by the rangers to ensure a positive and sustainable wildlife experience.
After the gorilla trek, you’ll return to your lodge to relax and reflect on the incredible encounter with these magnificent creatures.

Day 3: Drive back to Entebbe for departure
Day Itinerary
On the last day of the tour, you’ll enjoy a leisurely breakfast and, if time permits, explore the nearby area or engage in optional activities such as community visits or nature walks.
Later, you’ll check out from your lodge and begin the journey back to Entebbe.
Along the way, you can enjoy more picturesque views of the countryside and possibly make stops at local markets or attractions.
Upon reaching Entebbe, you’ll be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
This marks the end of your 3-day Uganda gorilla trekking adventure, leaving you with unforgettable memories of one of the most awe-inspiring wildlife encounters on the planet.
(Evening flight beyond 6 pm is advised or an overnight in Entebbe). End of service!

Note: You can as well opt to exit via Kigali or add on Rwanda tour like Kigali city tour. You can as well as opt to return to Entebbe by a local domestic flight, which takes roughly 2 hours, with morning and afternoon flight options.
