Day 1: Transfer to Gitega – Burundi

Your guide will share insights into the country’s past, including the tragic events of the 1994 genocide. Enjoy a hearty lunch at a local restaurant en route. You will continue your journey to the Burundi, as you drive through the lush Rwandese countryside, marvel at the stunning landscape, arriving at Gisetga in the later afternoon, with a visit to Gitega museum. Lunch is at your own leisure at a local restaurant en route.
