Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Day Itinerary
Welcome to Kigali – Rwanda! Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport and passing through the immigration process, you will be welcomed by our safari driver who will brief you shortly and transfer you to the booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park. Travel time + 5hrs
Day Itinerary
Today after taking your warm early morning breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and drive to visit the Kigali genocide memorial grounds, which honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace-building. You will be able to watch and listen to some video clips from some of the survivors’ of the incident. Later you will proceed with a drive to Kibale National Park, which is roughly a 6 hours’ drive from Kigali. You will enjoy an en route lunch in one of the local restaurants along the way as you drive to Kibale. You will reach in the evening at your lodge and check in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking Experience at Kibale National Park and Bigodi Nature Walk
Day Itinerary
In the morning, you will set off to the park headquarters for briefing before going for Chimpanzee tracking, where you may encounter other primates like Vervet Monkeys, Blue Hoest Monkeys, Black and white colobus Monkeys among others. The park is known as home of primates with 13 primate’s species including the famous chimpanzees. The trek takes roughly 2 – 4 hours, depending on the chimpanzee movement. One hour will be allocated to you, to have a wonderful interaction with the chimpanzees, as you take pictures and short videos, as your local guide explains to you all the biological background of the chimpanzee as you interact. You will later return from trek and head for lunch.
In the afternoon; go for a Bigodi nature walk at Bigodi wetland sanctuary for primate and bird viewing, the walk can take roughly 2 hours, to explore the hidden treasure of this swamp, with a great chance to see a number of bird species and monkeys. Later drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Note: You can as well as opt for chimpanzee habituation experience, which is a full day experience with the chimpanzees.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: Travel time +4 hrs
Day Itinerary
Today after taking your early morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the magnificent route to your booked accommodation to catch up with the late lunch and later spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and preparing for the next day’s Gorilla trekking exercise.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Uganda. It’s known for its diverse flora and fauna, with over 350 bird species and over 400 gorillas. Bwindi offers a unique birding experience for bird enthusiasts, as well as gorilla trekking for wildlife enthusiasts. The park’s thick forest makes for an exciting and immersive adventure, attracting tourists from all over the world. It’s best to visit during the dry season for optimal bird watching and gorilla trekking experiences.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking Experience at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Day Itinerary
Early morning cup of coffee by 0630hrs, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters and thereafter, you will enter the jungle with your packed lunch to search for the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for an hour watching their social life as you take pictures. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed snacks and mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen and hut. The gorilla trekking experience takes almost 2 – 6 depending on the movements of these primates and pace of your trekking group. After this gorilla tracking experience you will return to your lodge for hot lunch. You will spend the evening relaxing and going through your great shots during your trekking as you wait for overnight stay at the lodge or you may opt for batwa cultural experience, to kill your evening stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Travel time + 2hrs
Day Itinerary
After your relaxed morning breakfast, you will jump into your jeep, and drive off to Kigali, via Cyanika border, undergo immigration clearance and proceed to Musanze, visit Ellen DeGeneres Campus of Dian Fossey, where research and studies about the gorillas is conducted. The research center has a lot of educational materials, from the time of Dian Fossey life with the gorillas in the mist. You will later head to your booked accommodation for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure at the lodge.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Volcanoes National Park.
Day Itinerary
After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters. You will meet with your ranger who will brief you about the code of conduct while with the gorillas. You will then enter the forest in search of the gorillas. The gorilla trekking may take 2 – 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle and your group speed as well. Meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour. After a great experience you will walk back to the starting point, meet your guide waiting for you and be transferred to your lodge for lunch, and after lunch, you will relax at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Golden Monkey trekking and transfer to Kigali
Day Itinerary
Today after your warm early morning breakfast, we will be transferred back to the park headquarters for briefing and start off your day golden monkey trekking in search of these primates in the jungle. Just like the gorilla trekking experience, the same trekking procedures and guidelines apply to golden monkey trekking though not so hectic like gorilla trekking. You will later return to the lodge for refreshment and lunch before you transfer to Kigali, later visit Kigali genocide memorial before being transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Transfer to Kigali Airport and fly to Nairobi- Kenya
Day Itinerary
Following your morning breakfast, depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the Kigali International Airport to catch up with your flight to Nairobi.
Upon arrival in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, and getting done with immigration clearance, you will proceed to the waiting area, where you will be met by your Kenyan assigned guide, who will welcome you and transfer you to your booked accommodation.

Day 10: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve (Approx 5 hrs driving time).
Day Itinerary
A sumptuous breakfast will be served at the lodge’s main restaurant from 0630 hrs. Check out of rooms by the latest 0730 hrs and meet your safari driver guide at the lobby.
You will board your safari customized safari vehicle and depart for the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
You will arrive at your Mara lodge in time for lunch. This evening, you will enjoy your first game drive. The Masai Mara whose eco system is a southern extension to Serengeti National Park offers the discerning traveller a lifetime opportunity to experience wild nature at its best. Your magical Mara experience begins here with a possibility of spotting some if not all of THE BIG 5 among several other wildlife and bird species.

Day 11 & 12: Full day game drives in Masai Mara Reserve.
Day Itinerary
You will spend two full days game drives exploring and discovering the vast Mara reserve, enjoying game drives as you search for the resident Big Cats, herbivores, various antelopes and bird species. (You may also opt for morning and afternoon game drives with mid-morning at leisure). Be on the lookout for Lions, Cheetahs, Buffalos, Zebras, Spotted Hyenas, Masai Giraffes, Elands, Gazelles, Hippos, and Leopard, Black Rhino and several other animals and birds that reside here. The Mara, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in Africa is home to the Big Five as well as other predators, scavengers, plains game and prolific birdlife. This is also the place where the wildlife spectacle referred to as the annual wildebeest migration takes place every year between July and October when over 1.2 million Wildebeest together with Zebras and various Antelope species cross over from Serengeti in search of greener pastures. Your drive will dedicate time to trailing this great spectacle as it unfolds.
Hot Air Balloon Flight: During one of the days, you will undertake early morning hot air balloon flight over the vast Masai Mara savannah, enabling you to view wildlife and the landscape from a bird’s eye view. This is an amazing experience which is worth every penny. Dinner and overnight will be served at the lodge.

Day 13: Masai Mara / Northern Serengeti- Travel time + 8.5 hrs.
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, collect your picnic lunch and depart for the seemingly endless plains; The Serengeti. You enjoy a three-hour drive to the Isebania border crossing point, clear with immigration’s and proceed to northern Serengeti. You will enjoy en route game viewing in search of the BIG CATS that reside here.

Day 14: Full Day Game drive in the Northern Serengeti.
Day Itinerary
You will spend the full day exploring the northern part of the Serengeti as you search for major wildlife sightings. This is where you can witness the great migration between June and October as they graze in the savannah woodlands and along the shores of the crocodile infested Mara River with frequent River crossings between the south and north being witnessed regularly. After the calving season in southern Serengeti between February and March, the migration moves to Seronera in Central Serengeti between April and May, before arriving north from June. Big predators like Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, and scavenging opportunists like jackals, hyenas, vultures, Marabou Storks are always trailing the migration so you also have a chance of catching them in action.

Day 15: Transfer from North to Central Serengeti with an en route game.
Day Itinerary
You will enjoy your breakfast, morning game drives in northern Serengeti and then depart for Central Serengeti with en route game viewing. This afternoon, you will explore the most popular part of the Siringet- the Seronera area. The abundance of both predator and prey here will amaze you as you cover different habitat and geographical areas during your game drives.

Day 16: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Zanzibar.
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you depart to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you may visit the Ol Dupai Gorge, the museum where archaeological collections by Louis and Mary Leakey are displayed insitu. This is an optional opportunity to learn about human evolution and the early man. This afternoon, you descend down the steep walls of the caldera for game drives along the crater floor. Lions, Elephants (including huge bulls), Cheetah, Spotted Hyena, Black Rhino, Gnus, Jackals, Baboons, Buffalos, Flamingos (on the crater lakes), Hippos and even the rare Caracal are some of the animals you might spot here. You will later drive off to Arusha and proceed to Kilimanjaro Airport to catch up with your evening flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival in Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by our Zanzibar One More Adventure representative, who will transfer you to your booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 17: Stone town tour, Spice tour & Dhow Cruise.
Day Itinerary
Have morning breakfast, you will head for a day excursion to explore the vibrant hot spot of Zanzibar with a tour of the Stone Town, and learn about its rich history and cultural heritage and Spice tour, which is the second income earner of Zanzibar, with a drive through a profusion of greenery in the countryside seeing, smelling and tasting a variety of spices and mouth-watering tropical seasonal fruits such as jack fruit, pineapple, banana, green coconut juice, dourian, love apple, litche, soursop ( depending on the season ) etc. Spices such as cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, turmeric, vanilla, and nutmeg – are as exotic as the flavour. This is also the very best and cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes and oils.
Our guided walking tour passes through villages and spice plantations, a walk through the farms as spice farm workers climb trees, seek out specific plants and cut off various barks, letting you see, feel and taste everything.
Later in the evening, head for the sunset Dhow cruise to explore Zanzibar Sea. You will return in the late evening.
