Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Day Itinerary
Welcome to Nairobi – Kenya!
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport aboard an evening flight, and after clearance with immigration, you will proceed to the arrivals area where your One More Adventure Safaris representative will meet you and assist you into your vehicle. Transfer to your city hotel for check in with the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 2: Explore Nairobi City
Day Itinerary
Enjoy your first breakfast in Nairobi, and later be picked up at 1000 hrs for a visit to both the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Center. You will have interactive moments with young Orphaned Elephants which have been rescued from the wilderness as well as the endangered Rothschild’s Giraffe. Lunch will be on my own account. Return to your hotel by 1400 hrs with afternoon leisure.

Day 3: Transfer to Samburu National Reserve -approx 6 hrs drive
Day Itinerary
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your hotel. Check out by 0715 hrs, meet your guide, share a short safari briefing and board your safari jeep and drive to Samburu National Reserve. Lunch will be served at a restaurant in Nanyuki. Arrival at your lodge for check in.
This afternoon, you will enjoy game drives until 1800 hrs.

Day 4: Endless Game drive at Samburu National Reserve
Day Itinerary
You will enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu in search of the SPECIAL FIVE; Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, Grevy’s Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe. They are unique because they only survive north of the equator. Other animals found here include Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Elephant and various birds and antelope species. You may also choose to enjoy a cultural visit to a Samburu Village (Manyatta)

Day 5: Transfer from Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy – approx. 3 hours’ drive
Day Itinerary
After a delightful early morning breakfast, you will be met by your driver guide and drive south west to the foot of Mount Kenya, arriving for lunch. This evening, you will visit the Chimpanzee and Rhino Sanctuaries as well as enjoy game drives in this game rich conservancy which is home to the Big 5.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park (Approx 4 hrs driving time)
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, meet your safari guide, jump into your jeep and drive past the Aberdare ranges and the Great Rift Valley floor on your way to Lake Nakuru. Lunch at your lodge followed by game drives from 1600 hrs. Some of the rare sightings found here are the endangered White Rhinos and Rothschild’s Giraffes. The popular pink necked lesser Flamingos may be spotted here seasonally. Other wildlife found here include Lions, Buffalos, Spotted Hyenas, Elands, Water Bucks, Zebras and birds like Herons, Pelicans, Grebes, Egyptian Geese, Cormorants, Egrets, and Ibis among several others.

Day 7: Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Day Itinerary
Breakfast followed by morning game drive. Check out by 1000 hrs and drive to the nearby Lake Naivasha.
Check in followed by lunch. You will enjoy a scenic boat ride on the fresh water Lake. This gives you an opportunity to get up close with wildlife found here. Later return to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve (Approx 5 hrs driving time)
Day Itinerary
A sumptuous breakfast will be served at the lodge’s main restaurant from 0630 hrs. Check out of rooms by latest 0800 hrs and meet your safari driver guide at the lobby.
You will board your safari customized safari vehicle and depart for the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
You will arrive at your Mara lodge in time for lunch. This evening, you will enjoy your first game drive. The Masai Mara whose eco system is a southern extension to Serengeti National Park offers the discerning traveller a lifetime opportunity to experience wild nature at its best. Your magical Mara experience begins here with a possibility of spotting some if not all of THE BIG 5 among several other wildlife and bird species.

Day 9: Explore Masai Mara National Reserve
Day Itinerary
You will enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives at dawn and dusk respectively when the wildlife is more active. You may also opt for a near full day game drive, departing the lodge with packed lunch with the day spent in the vast park in search of wildlife sightings. This culminates with a picnic lunch served on the banks of the Mara River before driving back to your lodge.
This reserve’s open savannahs abound with game density, prolific birdlife as well as the annual instinct led wildebeest migration involving over 1.2 million Wildebeests, Zebras and Gazelles which takes place every year between July and October.
This reserve is home to the BIG 5, which are Lions, Leopards, Buffalos, Rhinos and Elephants amongst several other animal species. Birdlife is also prolific in the reserve with over 450 bird species having been recorded as residents of this reserve.

Day 10: Masai Mara / Nairobi (Approx 6 hrs drive)
Day Itinerary
Breakfast will be served at your lodge. Morning at leisure where you may enjoy the fresh weather and animals as you relax at your lodge. Check out of rooms by the latest 1000 hrs. You will then drive back to Nairobi with optional lunch served at The Carnivore restaurant. You then enjoy a tour within Nairobi city as you are transferred to your hotel for check in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Nairobi / Amboseli National Park (Approx 5 hrs drive)
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, check out by 0800 hrs and drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrival at your tented camp for lunch. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to your lodge for dinner.

Day 12: Full day game drive at Amboseli National Park
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, collect a picnic lunch and drive to the park at 0730 hrs. You will enjoy game watching with picnic lunch served at the top of the observation hill. You then drive back to your camp by 1530 hrs. The park is located at the foot hill of the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro and offers spectacular views of Africa’s highest mountain on a clear day. The park is also home to several wildlife species, notably the free ranging herds of Elephants. Other animals like Lions, Zebras, Gnus, Hippos, Hyenas, Jackals, Cheetahs and hundreds of birds may also be sighted here. Rest of the day is spent at leisure in your lodge where you can enjoy swimming.

Day 13: Amboseli / Nairobi / Departure
Day Itinerary
Today marks the end of your end of the beautiful Kenya wildlife safari experience, filled with great memories.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi. Lunch on your own account and later transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on time for your evening or night international departure flight. End of service! Safari Njema!
