Your safari driver guide, will be waiting at the hotel lobby to meet you, share a short briefing, before he leads you to your customized 4 x 4 extended safari land cruiser, with a pop up roof for game viewing, and shortly you hit the road to find your way to Akagera National Park, which is located 2.3 hours away East of Kigali, bordering Tanzania. You will stopover en route at Migano café, to grab a coffee as well as use the wash rooms, as you proceed to the park, reach and continue to the park reception for registration, logistics, and later game briefing followed by jumping into your safari jeep, start off your animal count. Keep your eyes on lookout for both small and big ones, as they room around. A wildlife sighting is always unpredictable and that’s what makes a game drive so exciting. Look out for tracks.
