Day 1: Bujumbura city tour
Day Itinerary
Have your morning breakfast at your hotel, later meet your guide, share a short briefing at your hotel, and later drive to Rusizi National Park, which is just 20 minutes’ drive away from Bujumbura, where you will head for a boat ride on River Rusizi. The 2 hours boat ride allows you a great moment to explore this beautiful river, patched with a number of bird life, including the migratory bird, crocodiles, hippos, and other wildlife. You will as well approach the shores of Lake Tanganyika, meet the fishermen, and later return and drive to the Burundi – Congo border. You will later return and head off for Bujumbura city tour, visit the local market and correlation square, Livingston and Stanley memorials, unity monument and the Living museum. You will as well visit one of the beach shores and the busy city area, before dropping off at the airport to catch up with your evening flight. End of service!
