This is a Joint Tourist Visa and it allows the traveler to travel to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda ONLY. The single East Africa Tourism Visa, ONLY allows multiple travel within the three countries for only tourism purposes.
The travelers should make sure that they only connect within the 3 countries, without reaching other countries. At one point, a traveler, crosses to another country, which is not included on the East Africa Tourist Visa, then the visa, becomes invalid, he will need to get another visa
The East Africa Tourist Visa costs 100 dollars and allows tourists multiple access between Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya. Visa Fees are non-refundable and all payments are subject to a bank charge.
Who is eligible?
Any foreigner who wants to visit simultaneously the Republic of Kenya, Republic of Rwanda and Republic of Uganda for tourism. The visa will be issued at any of the diplomatic representations of Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda, at the immigration offices of the respective countries or online where applicable.
Rwanda offers the East Africa Tourist Visa both upon arrival and through applying online. The process of getting the East Africa Tourist Visa upon arrival at Kigali airport is very smooth and quick.
Both Kenya and Uganda, you will have to apply in advance for your travel. A hotel booking or safari package from your operator may be requested.
Type of visa: An East Africa Tourist Visa is a multiple entry visa and shall be valid for 90 days (3 months). This means you can access the three countries as many times as you wish, for a period of 90 days and not renewable upon expiry or upon exit from the block (Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda).
Note: You have to apply to the country, where your first point of arrival is to be. The issuing country should be your first entry point.
