Other than learning about the coffee production process, you will also have a great opportunity to visit the coffee plantation garden, and learn about the process of farming coffee from the seedlings until the time of harvest. You will visit the plantation, and have a look at the red coffee berries.
You will as well visit the eco-friendly coffee drier, where the small farmers deliver their ripe red coffee berries for drying. Some farmer’s sell their coffee harvest when they are still fresh, while some prefer to dry them and sell the coffee beans, which attracts more value and capital.
At the end of the coffee tour experience at Sipi, you will have learnt about the entire process of the coffee production chain, from the seedlings, to the packed coffee bags, which you can purchase and take with you back home.
