ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS’S BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TRAVELING WITHIN EAST AFRICA

Thank you for choosing One More Adventure Safaris for your adventure. Please read our booking terms and conditions carefully before confirming your reservation. By making a booking with us, you agree to abide by the following terms:

ARTICLE 1: CONDITIONS

AIR TRANSPORTATION

  • Airfare to and from Africa not included, unless on request, and being agreed upon.
  • Flights within Africa are provided as indicated in the itinerary on request.
  • Weight ALLOWANCES to be absorbed as in regards to airline weight rules. Our team shall try to advice where possible.

(a) The customer is solely and fully responsible for ensuring they are in full compliance with the airline flown. For further guidance, ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS LIMITED has attached a list of the requirements as they are known currently. These are provided as a courtesy, and it is the customer’s responsibility to check with each airline to ensure compliance.
(b) In regards to flight weight restrictions, Passengers weighing more than 225 pounds must advise ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS in advance, as an extra seat may have to be added into the pricing at the airline’s discretion for safety reasons. Where the helicopter is to be used for connection, the weight limit will be advised to the customer, in regards to the type of helicopter options to be considered.

    1. ACCOMMODATIONS
      • Accommodations to be provided as indicated in the itinerary.
    2. MEALS
      • Meals to be provided as indicated in the itinerary.
    3. TRANSFERS
      • Transfers to be provided as indicated in the itinerary.
    4. CHANGES TO ITINERARY AND SCHEDULE
      • Not with standing the foregoing, ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS reserves the right to make changes to accommodations, meals and/or transfers as it may deem necessary. In these rare circumstances, ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS shall use commercially reasonable efforts to substitute accommodations, meals and/or transfers of substantially similar quality.
      • The Company reserves the right to change routes and camps on safaris as dictated by changing conditions. Such conditions may be brought about by seasonal rainfall on bush tracks, airfields and in game areas, by game migrations from one region to another, or airline or other booking problems, etc.
    5. TIPS AND TAXES
      • All service charges and taxes imposed by hotels, lodges and tented camps, and entrance fees to all game reserves are included as indicated in the itinerary.
      • Airport taxes are not included and will be billed prior to your departure.
      • Tips to drivers/guides are not included and should be provided at your discretion. A tipping guideline will be advised by our sales team/ representative, you’re working with.
    6. COSTS NOT INCLUDED
      • Cost of passport and visa fees, and service charges for obtaining visa fees. The onus is upon you and your Traveling Party to ensure that passports and visas are valid for the countries visited.
      • Additional sightseeing or deviation from the itinerary
      • Baggage charges levied by airlines.
      • Medical/Travel Insurance (Highly recommended) and any vaccination/ test requirement needed.By booking with ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS, you and each member of your Traveling Party assumes sole responsibility to ensure that you and they carry the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover yourself and themselves for the duration of their trip.
      • All items not specifically covered in the itinerary, including, as noted above, tips to drivers/guides, as well as to other conveyance attendants.
      • All extra costs incurred at the hotels including drinks, telephone services and OPTIONAL activities quoted separately above.
      • Items of a personal nature, gratuities other than those imposed by hotels and/or restaurants for included services.
      • Optional personal, baggage and tour cancellation insurance policy.
      • Cost for anything not specifically included in the listing above.
      • Any government levy increment imposed after tour confirmation.

ARTICLE 2: Health

(A): VACCINATIONS

  1. As African countries have varying inoculation, immunization and medication requirements, it is essential that you familiarize yourself with these and take the necessary steps as travel will not be permitted unless you meet these requirements, which are your full responsibility
  2. It is furthermore your responsibility to be familiar with all diseases, both real and potential, when travelling to and through Africa and to take the necessary precautions and vaccinations.
  3. We suggest you contact your personal physician or local health department for the most current recommendations as to vaccinations you and/or the other members in your traveling party (collectively, “your Traveling Party”) are required to get before traveling to Africa.
  • Travelers entering Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania from a yellow fever zone will require proof of yellow fever vaccination certificate.
  • It is a sensible precaution for visitors to take one of the preventive pills that are in common use against malaria if you will be in East African countries.
  • Water is safe to drink in most areas, but to avoid problems it is always advisable to drink bottled water, which will be provided for you, free of charge, in the vehicles.

ARTICLE 3: BOOKING PROCEDURE

  1. DEPOSIT: To confirm a reservation, we require a minimal deposit of forty percent (40%) of the invoice for land arrangements at the time of booking. A booking is considered CONFIRMED once an agreed upon initial deposit has been made.

The amount of the deposit depends on the type of safari and accommodation and permits within the trip, sometimes the deposit may be more, where the deposit is unable to run the initial booking process.Any amount paid as a deposit shall serve as payment for a trip confirmation to ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS as provision of a fully prepared itinerary. In case payment with a credit card or PayPal is preferred, the customer has to reimburse the handling fees that are charged to One More Adventure Safaris (usually 5 – 8%)

  1. In addition to this, a full advance payment is required to secure Gorilla or Chimpanzee Permits in case a client has interest in any of the activities that require securing of tracking permits and the Gorilla and Chimpanzee Permit fees are non-refundable but we can reschedule these activities to any other chosen dates for the guest to enjoy the experiences. • Flexible Booking Whilst the fast 40% deposits you make is non-refundable because it immediately goes to the service providers, we always make it possible for guests to amend their travel dates and yet we do not charge an extra for that and incase of non-availability of service, say accommodation, we always choose the second best alternative or we change the routing of the package in order for the Guests to enjoy what they paid for. Thus, if one needs to change the booking to any months/year near/far, we will still be in position to carry the deposit forward as well your deposits can be transferable to a friend or family (primate permits are non-transferrable). Also, if the booking was made in the low season months, the reschedule must be made to the next low season month to avoid extra fees which may be required for the high/peak season. However, where there is an extra cost on the trip, due to the changes made, One More Adventure Safaris reserves full rights to charge an amendment fee incase a Client’s adjustment affects the actual cost of the initial Trip – the fee will always be supplemented to the final total invoice.
  2. TRIP INFORMATION: Upon invoice and acceptance of payments, instructions will be sent to you concerning all aspects of your trip, such as itinerary, and items to bring, including, documents, clothing, insurance, etc.
  3. INVOICING:
    1. A Final Invoice for your trip will be sent to you approximately three (3) months prior to the departure date of your trip.
    2. Payment of the Final Invoice is due no later than sixty (60) days prior to trip departure.
    3. To confirm bookings that are made within 60 days of departure date, we require full payment at the time of invoicing.
  4. FINAL DOCUMENTS:  Subject to receipt of payment in full, ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS will send your final documents approximately three (3) weeks prior to departure. Other documents such as gorilla and chimpanzee permits, including hotel/ lodge vouchers, shall be kept in your files, in our offices.

ARTICLE 4: PAYMENT

  1. RATES:
    1.
     All rates quoted are based on tariffs and value of foreign currencies in relation to the U.S. dollar in effect as of the time of booking and are subject to change.
    2. Should increases be forced on ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS by government, airlines, exchange rates, etc., ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS reserves the right to impose a surcharge up to a maximum of 10% of the total tour cost.
  2. DEVIATIONS AND CHANGE FEES: Once you reserve your tour, ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS may in its discretion accommodate change requests, subject to availability at the time of request. Should there be any change fees imposed by airlines or hotels, or additional costs incurred due to the unavailability of space, these fees and / or costs will be invoiced to you, as well as ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS’s service fee.

ARTICLE 5: CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

  1. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
    • Cancellations are only effective on receipt of written notification.
    • Refunds will be provided as follows:

(1) UP TO 75 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE , you will be entitled to a full refund, less the cost of the primate permits (E.g. gorilla & chimpanzee permits) and other non-refundable ticket costs within the tour package.

(2) LESS THAN 75 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE, you will be entitled to a refund dependent upon the amount (if any) ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS may recover from its suppliers.

    • “No Shows” WITHOUT prior email notice, will be charged 100%. One More Adventure Safaris reserves the right to resell tickets of no-showing guests
    • You are also responsible for any cancellation fees that may be imposed by any of the airlines or any other service providers.
    • No refund will be made once the safari has commenced, or will any refund be available in respect of any tours, accommodation, hires, services or inclusions not utilized.
    • Please note that cancellation includes reduction of services or decrease in number of travelers in a group, as well as a complete cancellation of the trip.
    • In case of a date change request, ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS will use commercially reasonable efforts to avoid cancellation or change fee penalties, but these penalties are dependent on policies of our suppliers. For any change of dates, One More Adventure Safaris, should be noticed by email, as early as possible.
    • ONE MORE ADVENTURE SAFARIS strongly recommends travel insurance to compensate you AND/OR your travelling party for cancellation fees you or they may incur.

ARTICLE 6: RELIABLE INFORMATIONS.

  1. All itineraries designed and information shared to the client are out of latest findings. One More Adventure Safaris, is therefore not responsible for additional information or duplication from the third parties. In the similar way, clients are required to provide Full names as appears on their passports, Nationality, date of birth and passport number (better to share the passport biodata copy). This is a must share, in case the client’s itinerary do include domestic flight booking, gorilla and chimpanzee trekking bookings.

ARTICLE 7: AVAILABILITY OF SERVICES.

  1. All our services are packaged based on availability and are all not guaranteed to any client till they are reserved and confirmed through deposit or full payments. Hence it is very important to make advance payments on your reserved planned Trip as we have limited capacity in National Parks and Areas of Touristic attention in Terms of Lodge/Hotel reservations, tracking permits as well as other services and products which are competitively selected in the Tourism Industry. On the other hand, our team will be able to amend your reservations or make adjustments/upgrades on your Safari Trip upon your request and availability of products and services – here, a confirmation will be made accordingly, however One More Adventure Safaris reserves full rights to charge an amendment fee incase a Client’s adjustment affects the actual cost of the Trip – the fee will always be supplemented to the final total invoice.
  2. Furthermore, Whilst the tracking permits and entrance fees to the Natural habitats give full rights to encounter and see animals/birds you are interested in and paid for, however due to our wide typical untamed wildernesses with varied vegetation cover and vast dramatic topography, we cannot guarantee seeing all animals, hence patience is very important to help you come across your dream while in the Wild. Whilst the above, One More Adventure Safaris, reserves the right to contract a new staff to execute a particular trip or supply a particular services in case the preferred service provider by the client is unavailable due to different circumstances (Sickness, on another Trip, dismissed by management due to unbecoming behavior or any other)
  3. On the accommodation, quotations and itinerary are made and shared based on availability at the time of the package quotation, and are all not guaranteed to any client till they are reserved and confirmed through deposit or full payments. In case of incidence where there is no availability, One More Adventure Safaris, will try by all means to make reservation or make adjustment/ upgrades on your trip lodges/ hotels, so as to secure accommodation accordingly to the trip– here, a confirmation will be made accordingly, however One More Adventure Safaris reserves full rights to charge an amendment fee incase a Client’s adjustment affects the actual cost of the Trip – the fee will always be supplemented to the final total invoice.

ARTICLE 8: DISCONTINUE/TERMINATION OF THE ITINERARY BY US

o   One More Adventure Safaris has a Right to discontinue any client from participating in tour if, our Management or any other person in authority has a questioned opinion on the person concerned due to behaviour that may likely to cause danger, hazard or inconvenience to any third party, damage to property or to environments and ecosystems. No refunds will be made by One More Adventure Safaris in this case.

ARTICLE 9: MODE OF TRANSPORT

o   The Mode of Transport for a Particular Trip depends on the Itinerary specifications and number of Clients on board, however we make utmost efforts to provide Safari Road worth Transport system that can best suit our Roads though with our rural Poor road setup we may not guarantee a smooth Travel to different destination as you may experience tire puncture, breakdown, and damage or delay, which calls for every ones patience and understanding in order to enjoy the Trip. On the other hand, for longer destinations, we always recommend our clients to fly so that they are able to enjoy all their experiences in a short period yet successfully. At One More Adventure Safaris, we strive to do our best to see that the best safari vehicles are allocated to our safaris, to make sure that our clients enjoy their trips as planned.

ARTICLE 10: Photo Rights Disclaimer:

  • At One More Adventure Safariswe understand the beauty of capturing unforgettable moments during your journey. As part of our commitment to sharing the magic of travel, we reserve the right to capture photos or videos during safaris and programs for marketing and promotional purposes. By choosing to embark on an adventure with us, guests implicitly grant us permission to use their images in such media. Your incredible experiences contribute to our story, and we value the opportunity to showcase them while respecting your privacy.

ARTICLE 11: Governing Law:

  • The booking terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes will be settled under Ugandan law.

ARTICLE 12: Important Note:

  • One More Adventure Safaris reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be notified promptly of any changes.
