The 7 days Uganda gorilla trek and Kenya Masai Mara flying safari, takes you into the hearts of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by flights, beating over the long drives and jam by road. You will have a great opportunity to do a community walk and of course come face to face with the mountain gorillas in the jungle. This is a true experience, to sit close to the gorillas and watch them go over their day’s life. Later fly directly into the hearts of Masai Mara National Reserve for a wonderful Big Five safari experience in the world’s greatest wildlife safari park, known for its unique bird species and abundant wildlife experiences. Day 1: Welcome to Uganda!
Day Itinerary
Upon landing at Entebbe International Airport, you will go through the immigration protocol and on getting done, as you exit the tunnel, your driver/guide, will warmly welcome you to Uganda, and he will pick you up from Entebbe airport and transfers you to your booked accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay. You will have the opportunity to rest and prepare for your safari adventure the following day. Our driver will ensure that you are comfortable and ready for an exciting and unforgettable experience exploring the beautiful landscapes and wildlife of Uganda.

Day 2: Transfer to the airport and fly to Bwindi
Day Itinerary
Begin the day with breakfast, then Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your Flight to Kisoro/ Kihihi Airstrip, Get on afternoon flight (1200). You will enjoy the Aerial view of the beautiful changing landscape. The flight is only for 2 hours’ the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. On arrival, you will find your driver guide waiting for you at the airstrip and warmly welcomes you, share a short briefing with you, before boarding your jeep and drive to your lodge for Lunch then proceed to afternoon Community Village walk. The Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and the community looks like. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Day Itinerary
Begin the day with breakfast ready for gorilla trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots together with packed lunch. You will later be transferred to the park headquarters’ where you will meet with other trekkers of the day. Group allocation depending on the guests’ fitness levels and interes, followed by briefing in your allocated groups, before you all get into your vehicles and drive to a common gorilla trekking starting point for the day. The assigned ranger guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.
The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. An hour will be assigned to you, upon finding the gorillas, and you will have a whole full hour to take photos and video’s as you watch the gorillas go through their day life of feeding as the juvenile’s play about, rooming close to their mothers. Of course you will have the opportunity to spot the silverback, who tends to be seated cool, watching over his family. When time reaches, you will say goodbye to the gorillas, and when you return, find your driver guide waiting for you. Gratitude to the ranger guides, for the great work well done, jump into your jeep and find your way to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Fly directly to Masai Mara Reserve
Day Itinerary
Begin the day with a cup of coffee. Our guide will be ready to transfer you to the Airstrip to catch your onward flight from Bwindi to Masai Mara via Kisumu for immigration arrangements, then continue with your flight. Upon landing at Masai Mara Airstrip, your guide will be waiting for you, to transfer you to your booked accommodation, for late lunch. After settling down, you will enjoy your first Masai Mara game drive from 1600 hrs.
Masai Mara is one of the leading national parks in the world, a natural habitat to over 95 mammal and 450 bird species. All members of the BIG 5; Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Elephant and Rhino can be found here.

Day 5 & 6: Full day game drives in Masai Mara Reserve
Day Itinerary
You will spend two full days exploring and discovering the vast Masai Mara reserve, enjoying game drives as you search for the resident Big Cats, herbivores, various antelopes and bird species. (You may also opt for morning and afternoon game drives with mid-morning at leisure). Be on the lookout for Lions, Cheetahs, Buffalos, Zebras, Spotted Hyenas, Masai Giraffes, Elands, Gazelles, Hippos, and Leopard, Black Rhino and several other animals and birds that reside here. The Mara, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in Africa is home to the Big Five as well as other predators, scavengers, plains game and prolific birdlife. This is also the place where the wildlife spectacle referred to as the annual wildebeest migration takes place every year between July and October when over 1.2 million Wildebeest together with Zebras and various Antelope species cross over from Serengeti in search of greener pastures. Your drive will dedicate time to trailing this great spectacle as it unfolds.
Hot Air Balloon Flight: During one of the days, you may book an optional (payable as extra) early morning hot air balloon flight over the vast Masai Mara savannah, enabling you to view wildlife and the landscape from a bird’s eye view. This is an amazing experience which is worth every penny. Dinner and overnight will be served at the lodge.

Day 7: Fly to Nairobi for departure.
Day Itinerary
Breakfast will be served at your lodge, and you will head for an early morning game drive. Depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the Mara Airstrip, and fly to Wilson Airstrip in Nairobi to connect with your outbound flight at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, having had an amazing safari experience with One More Adventure Safaris, the East Africa Safari Experts.
